in the silence has a good list of performers on it including Ndugu, Bennie Maupin and Henry Franklin of Black Jazz notoriety, but the sum of its parts appears to be better than its whole; upon saying that however Howell's playing at times is delicous as is Kenneth Nash's conga playing.
