Fender Rhodes - Incredible Fender Rhodes from Rob Franken a beautiful collection of rare recordings made in the mid 70s! All of this work was never issued here in the US and most of it features Franken in really laidback, stripped-down settings working some soulful magic on the keys of the Fender Rhodes, with a depth in sound that easily matches some of the bigger-name keyboardists in the US during the 70s! The package is filled with gems you'd never find in American record racks (or European ones, for that matter!) and although many of the numbers are trio tunes, a few of them expand the group with other players who include Jimmy Owens or Clark Terry on flugelhorn, and Ernie Wilkins on tenor.
