Fender Rhodes - Incredible Fender Rhodes from Rob Franken – a beautiful collection of rare recordings made in the mid 70s! All of this work was never issued here in the US – and most of it features Franken in really laidback, stripped-down settings – working some soulful magic on the keys of the Fender Rhodes, with a depth in sound that easily matches some of the bigger-name keyboardists in the US during the 70s! The package is filled with gems you'd never find in American record racks (or European ones, for that matter!) – and although many of the numbers are trio tunes, a few of them expand the group with other players who include Jimmy Owens or Clark Terry on flugelhorn, and Ernie Wilkins on tenor.
